If you have added an aftermarket leaf spring pack and are looking to take advantage of the addition wheel travel longer shocks are a must! Our shock relocation kit is designed to work with 12-14" shocks on spring over applications and will keep the shocks 100% under the bed. The shock mounts are laser cut and formed out of 3/16" steel and allow for the ability to run up to a 3" diameter shock! We also designed the shock mounts to bolt on to the weld on backing plate, this will allow you to order the shock mounts powder coated if you wish as well as provide additional strength to the shock mount above the frame.
To install the shock mounts you will need to cut off the factory shock mounts and weld the supplied shock mount backing plate to the frame. You will also need to cut the factory shock mounts off the axle and weld on the supplied lower shock tabs.
The shock relocation kit is available with a raw finish or can be purchased powder coated. (Wheel spacers are recommended)
